F1 pundit gives his take on Lewis Hamilton and George Russell as teammates

As reported by Sky Sports, Davidson mentioned he is happy to see that the former Williams driver is excited to be paired against Lewis Hamilton. He also pointed out the challenges that lie ahead for a driver like Russell when he is up against Lewis.

“It’s great to see. He’s so full of energy and this is his big moment, isn’t it? His chance to step into, hopefully for his sake, a car that can run right at the sharp end and with Lewis Hamilton as your yardstick, the best in the business to measure yourself against,” said Anthony.

“There’s nothing more that a driver like George wants than to go head to head with Lewis with the same equipment, and this is the time you can really see if you’re good enough,” said Davidson.

Former F1 driver and fellow Sky pundit Karun Chandhok also pointed out an interesting point to look forward to. “Is George going to be surprised by how good Lewis is? Or is it going to be the other way around?” said Chandhok.
