Max Verstappen is a seasoned Formula 1 racer. However, most don’t know the Dutchman also has different racing experiences under his accomplished belt as well. Albeit virtual, Verstappen is an experienced sim racer. The Red Bull man races with “Team Redline” in his virtual reality. However, the Dutchman threatened to leave his online career behind after a recent mishap. A mishap, the son of famous F1 commentator Martin Brundle, defended through social media.

Alex Brundle defended the company responsible for the Le Mans mishap in his recent Twitter activity. The mishap? During the race, a lot of users got disconnected from the race. Among the unfortunate few were also our very own two-time Formula 1 world champion. On his live stream, Verstappen absolutely decimated the company hosting the race.

Verstappen’s, among many others, harsh comments about the organizers made some of the F1 commentators speak up. Alex Brundle tweeted, “I had a great time calling the @LeMansVirtual and working with the broadcast team. I’m not techie enough to truly understand the server issues. — Motorsport Games team are a lovely group. Sometimes even our best lets others down, and while not wanting to speak for them, I feel they recognise contingencies were missed. A group of very tired eyes, went flat out all night to keep the show on the road. Be kind if you can,” Alex Brundle concluded.
