So no matter how old you become, there is always a soft spot for video games in everyone’s hearts, including F1 drivers. No, we are not talking about the new-generation drivers who stream. We are talking about the F1 veteran Daniel Ricciardo and his first interaction with EA Sport’s F1 23 ahead of the Las Vegas GP tell us and the fans everything.

The Australian got his hands on the F1 23 game ahead of the exiting 2023 Las Vegas GP for a promotional event. EA Sports put up an entire simulator setup for the Australian to test out the game and express his opinion about the game.

You could hear the excitement in Ricciardo’s voice when he said, “EA Sports, I’m back in the game baby!” The Honey Badger also revealed some details about the game and its relevance to the upcoming 2023 Las Vegas GP as well with a hilariously confusing gesture.

Apparently, the game would be free for the entire 2023 Las Vegas GP weekend. In fact, in this video posted on YouTube by EA Sports F1’s official page, Ricciardo took his first lap around the Las Vegas Strip Street Circuit and crashed a few times, something he joked about during his live TV guest appearance as well.

However, after his lap around the circuit and when Ricciardo started testing out other modes, he gave the fans a hilarious scenario to look out for in the game.

Every game is essentially a code and as we all know, codes come with bugs. This is exactly why every newly launched game comes with bugs and hilarious unexplained glitches. This is exactly what happened during Ricciardo’s F1 23 event as well.

The Australian was hit by Lance Stroll in the game in a way he could not straighten his car. Now with the game’s AI still accelerating, Ricciardo’s AlphaTauri was moving sideways and stuck. As Ricciardo was given a 3-second time penalty for illegal blocking he confessed, “I can’t move!!”

This hilarious bug caught the attention of the fans as seen in the comment section.
