In the aftermath of what Ferrari suffered in Bahrain, team principal Frederic Vasseur came out in open defiance to play down the crisis bells. That being said, after his team finished a lowly 6th and 7th, the French boss has had enough. Even though Charles Leclerc started the race in 12th, his title nemesis Max Verstappen, who started farther behind him, finished 2nd. This has prompted Vasseur to shoot a few harsh words towards his subordinates at the Scuderia.

In the past, there has been a trend evident in Ferrari, where the man in charge has been subdued by inherited powers. However, this fresh take by Vasseur has geed the Tifosi up, as only two races into his stint at the helm of the team from Maranello, Vasseur has shown some fire.

While many fans were applauding the French-born team principal, there were a few detractors. For them, Vasseur was simply passing the blame when in reality the buck should essentially stop with him.
