ACM President declares F1 will hold the Monaco GP in 2022

President of the Automobile Club de Monaco, Michel Boeri mentioned that the sport will hold its annual Monaco Grand Prix in the 2022 season. There has been a lot of doubt to whether the iconic track will stay on the calendar with the addition of Las Vegas in 2023.

Boeri hinted whether we will see the race in 2023. Moreover, he confirmed F1 will race in the principality in the ongoing season.

“It was suggested that Liberty Media’s demands were too excessive for Monaco and the Grand Prix would no longer be held. That’s not true. We are still in talks with them and we must now make it concrete by signing a contract,” said Boeri.

It would be a shame to see if F1 decides to end its partnership with Monaco GP. But Boeri is adamant to sign a new deal with the sport to host further races in the principality.

Hopefully, we will see the ‘Crown Jewel’ of motorsport in all its glory when F1 visits in the 2022 season. Also, it would be interesting to see famous individuals like Musk in attendance.
