Ferrari finally heard the prayers of Tifosi and their drivers and pulled off a brilliant strategy in the Canadian GP. This came after a disappointing qualifying as Charles Leclerc didn’t make it through Q3 while Carlos Sainz received a penalty for impeding. Despite starting P10 and P11 respectively, Ferrari’s recovery was flawless with good pace & strategy as they finished P4 for Leclerc and P5 for Sainz. Regardless, Charles was vocal about the Scuderia’s qualifying errors.

Fred adds “It’s not always easy, and sometimes it’s also a matter of luck. In qualifying, I think that in the end the strategy was probably enough to get into Q3 because it was a strategy used by 90 percent of the teams.”
