Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has been in sensational form in the 2022 F1 season. The F1-75 has come alive in this new era of the sport, and Leclerc has ensured that he has capitalized on it in a massive way. In eight qualifying sessions, the Monegasque has claimed pole on a whopping six occasions.

At Baku, Ferrari opted to run a high down-force setup for their car, which meant it had more speed through the corners and was slower on the straights. Despite this, Leclerc popped up with the fastest sectors on track and beat his rivals easily.

The emergence of a new championship protagonist (Sergio Perez) has intensified the 2022 world championship battle. Leclerc, while speaking to Chandok, commented, “Yes, we will work hard, and that is the only thing we want, to convert this pole into a win.”

The Azerbaijan GP is going to be a great spectacle. Leclerc’s Ferrari shares the front row with Sergio Perez, and Max Verstappen is right behind them in P3. The Red Bull opting for a low downforce package will result in them having a quick car down the straights. This will result in some great on-track racing action in the city of winds.
