Fortune favors the brave.” A disappointing exit at the hands of the team left Lewis Hamilton and his fans disappointed. But now, fortune seems to be turning things around for the Mercedes driver, as Miami GP shows some bleak possibility of a race situation. And the best part is that Hamilton is known to excel in these situations. Eager to turn things around for the team in Miami, Hamilton wants a favor from the heavens. What is the situation we are talking about? How is Hamilton equipped to take this on? Let’s find out!

Lewis Hamilton got himself placed P13 on the grid, but he believes it could’ve been better had the team let him out early on the track in Q2. And it is speculated that we might experience rain showers during the race. So now, taking things into his own hands and using his skill, he banks on his rainy driving to get him the much-needed points. Notably, Hamilton’s numbers in rain-affected races are impressive, as he has won 36% of his races in rain, as per the GPBlog. Therefore, for him to ask for rain isn’t a bad wish to make.

“I don’t think any of us have driven in the rain here so we’d have two laps to the grid and we’d have to learn as we go, which is exciting. Ultimately we’re not where we want to be. I wish we had a car that was able to contend for wins and so it’s tough for us but we just keep our heads down and pushing.”
