“Everyone is a Ferrari fan even if they are not”. Charles Leclerc is living the dream of driving for Ferrari. The greatest F1 driver dream of driving for Ferrari. The Monegasque suggested that one does not need to go to Red Bull to win the world title as he explains his dream that will only be accomplished if he does not move to Red Bull. What was the straightforward question which described Charles Leclerc’s picture-perfect dream?

Kimi Raikkonen was the last Ferrari World Champion when he won the title in 2007 under the leadership of a French TP. While Ferrari has produced a championship-winning car since then, for one reason or the other, nobody could win the title. Even drivers like Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel could not lead the Maranello-based team to Glory. The same story has followed Charles Leclerc, who lost last year’s title because of reliability and strategy problems.

However, the Monegasque is hopeful and wishes to bring the glory back to Ferrari. The Scuderia now have a French TP in the form of Frederic Vasseur who’s going to be immune to the Italian culture at Ferrari. When Leclerc was asked if he would consider moving to Red Bull to win the title, he replied that he wants to stay with Ferrari and dreamed of winning the title wearing a Red racing suit.

According to Bild.de, Charles Leclerc said, “You don’t have to go to Red Bull to become world champion.” When asked about winning the title with Ferrari, he said “Yes. When I dream of one day being a world champion, I imagine myself wearing a red racing suit and getting out of a red car. Not every driver can say it openly, but I think every Formula 1 driver would love to drive for Ferrari. So I can consider myself lucky to be part of Ferrari.”

Agreeing with what Sebastian Vettel said, Charles Leclerc explains how every driver at least once dreams of driving for Ferrari and winning the title with them. Despite the struggles, Leclerc considers himself to be lucky to drive for the oldest and most successful team in the sport’s history. Things look positive as Leclerc debriefs over the Weekend in Azerbaijan.

Despite only scoring 6 points and two DNFs in the first three races, the weekend in Azerbaijan was fruitful for Monegasque. He scored poles in both the qualifying and finished on the podium for the first time this season. Looking back at the weekend, Leclerc explained that Ferrari had a trouble-free weekend and maximize the potential of the SF23.

According to Formula1.com, Charles Leclerc said, “Considering the first three races which we’ve had, scoring six points in three races, this weekend is better–we didn’t have any problems, it was a trouble-free weekend. I think when I look back at the weekend I look back at every session and I think we maximized absolutely everything in every single session, so on that we should be happy; on the other hand there is still work to do.”
