In his two years with Aston Martin, Sebastian Vettel managed only one podium finish. The P2 finish came in Azerbaijan in 2021, a season where he finished 12th in the drivers’ standings. Vettel persisted for another year, hoping for some improvement. However, the results remained the same as he finished 12th again in 2022, with no podium finishes. As all hopes dwindled, Sebastian announced his retirement mid-season.
