.The king of the street tracks, Sergio Perez, put a seal of approval on his title and became the first-ever repeat winner in Baku. The race win in Baku also took Perez closer to his ultimate goal of winning the championship. Although, he has his teammate, Max Verstappen, to chase who is still six points ahead of him after the fourth race. Moreover, the Dutchman isn’t concerned about the points difference because so far the circus has gone to tracks that favor the Mexican. In fact, Verstappen is confident he will have enough opportunities to showcase his mettle throughout the season.

Despite having convincingly beaten Verstappen in Baku, the Dutchman isn’t concerned for two reasons. The first is the fact the Dutchman has been in a championship fight before and comes out on top. He is aware of the level of consistency required and the Red Bull world champion is a consistency monster. Second, and more importantly, he revealed it to the media, including Motorsport.com. The tracks that favor Verstappen are yet to come.

Later on, there will be circuits with a little more flow in it and with more fast corners, that’s what I like,” Verstappen points out.

“Checo is doing well this year and that is just nice to see. He now feels more comfortable in the car. That is of course also good for the team. Checo and I get along well, even when we get out of the car. That’s important. You have to be able to recognize when someone else has done well, and that was the case on Sunday,” said Verstappen.
