Williams Racing and Nicholas Latifi announced that they will not be renewing the Canadian driver’s contract. Latifi enjoyed a decent 3-year spell at the Grove-based constructors. Latifi joined Williams in 2020 to replace Robert Kubica. However, his F1 stint hasn’t exactly gone according to plan. But Nicholas wasn’t letting the latest disappointment shrug him down as he revealed a brand-new toy to the world.

His F1 journey with Williams Racing might be coming to an end, but his passion for racing looks far from dimming. The Canadian driver finished the Japanese GP in an impressive P9 and earned his team a valuable 2 points. Furthermore, Latifi will be hoping to end his tenure on a high and impress a few team bosses in the process.
The 27-year-old still has time on his side and will be looking for a return to the sport in the future. In the meantime, he unveiled an upgraded home simulator to his fans.

Latifi shared images of his new toy on his Twitter account. He captioned the tweet, “My home simulator just got a big upgrade!” The Canadian driver might be practicing for the upcoming US GP in Austin.
After impressing everyone by finishing in points, Latifi will be hoping to continue that run. He has only scored 9 points in his career so far and will be looking to add to them.

Williams driver Nicholas Latifi revealed how he made a call in Suzuka amid heavy rains that earned him points finish. The Canadian pitted along with Sebastian Vettel for intermediate tires immediately after the safety car went out.

Latifi said, “It was nice to get the first points of the season. I had the crucial thing, which was getting the inter on right away. Getting that free air on the right tyre was a bit of a no-brainer for me.”
He further added, “As well, being towards the back you have less to lose. That was my call and it was the right call. It was tricky to get them to the end, already eight laps into the stint the front tires were completely gone, so [I was] just hanging on. It’s a points finish so it’s a positive, a nice morale booster.”
