Formula 1 racing is typically a grand affair, irrespective of where it’s being held. Every year, race weekends are graced by the presence of celebrities and prominent figures around the globe. Many of them are actual F1 fans, too! That being said, the undisputed crown jewel of the Formula 1 calendar is the Monaco Grand Prix. The race held on the streets of the Principality of Monaco is the main attraction for many A-listers. And the 2018 Monaco GP was no different. But, for Lewis Hamilton, betrayal was in the air!

Tom Brady has time and again shown his admiration for Lewis Hamilton. However, at the 2018 Monaco GP, the 7x Super Bowl winner surprisingly switched his allegiances. GPFans reported, “Bella and Brady were guests of the Red Bull team and posed for photos in the garage pre-race.” Apparently, he was team Max Verstappen!

That being said, Brady has a close affinity with Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes. And in the words of Lewis Hamilton’s boss, both the 7x Champs have more in common with each other than you’d think.

Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton have had a mercurial relationship. The duo has given the Silver Arrows eight consecutive championships, too. Hence, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Austrian boss has had a good thing or two to say about the Brit.

He was quoted by Marca as saying, “On a race weekend he is like a senior figure, like Michael [Schumacher] was or Tom Brady is, figures who are more than a player or a driver. He’s an emotional part of the team. He’s been here for 10 years, he’s not just an employee that you hire and pay, he’s part of it.”
