The Japanese GP has witnessed the crowning of 12 F1 Champions in the total 35 races it has witnessed. Unsurprisingly, the Suzuka Circuit has played a huge part in it. The circuit, surrounded by the beautiful view of the mountains, is liked by many. Additionally, Sebastian Vettel heaped further praise on this historic circuit.

Sebastian Vettel has arguably won it all in his career. Furthermore, the 4-consecutive-time World Champion with Red Bull has raced in some grand circuits. However, the former Red Bull driver thinks it is the Suzuka Circuit that was “designed by the gods”.

The German told F1.com, “It’s just everything is special around this place. Starting with the track, which it must have been designed by the Gods. I don’t know whoever is up there or out there [but they] had a touch on Suzuka. And then the fans put the icing on the cake in terms of atmosphere and passion.”

He also added, “It makes us feel very, very special, so definitely it will be missed.”

Vettel will race in his last Japanese GP before retiring at the end of the season. He finished second on the podium, last time out with Valtteri Bottas winning the race.
