The British GP is all set to begin, as drivers are ready for the showdown in Silverstone. Off the track, however, various star names have made it to the paddock. We witnessed Keanu Reeves and Gordon Ramsey enjoying their time yesterday. And today the legendary Hollywood star Tom Cruise has been spotted in the Mercedes garage.

Talk about representation! Tom Cruise’s Top Gun: Maverick movie gathered attention recently and his appearance in Lewis Hamilton’s team will no wonder steal the show again. Moreover, it’s the star’s 60th birthday as well.

It looks like Cruise is rooting for Hamilton and Co today. Martin Brundle, in his famous grid walk, bumped into the legendary actor and questioned his support today. Well, he did not certainly hesitate as he said, “Lewis always. Definitely Lewis. He’s a great friend of mine. I hope he has a great day.”

The seven-time world champion has the backing of Tom Cruise and popular UK singer Stormzy as well. Mercedes certainly has an enormous backing within the Silverstone crowd.

“This is the UK, this is going to be the best one. I’m cheering 100% for Lewis and for George as well this time. I think today will be a good result for them. They know the track like the back of their hands. I’m rooting for the boys man,” revealed Stormzy.

Russell starts P8, while the wildly cheered Hamilton starts P5. He has the record for the most victories here in Silverstone and will look to hope to finish on the podium this time around. Meanwhile, the fans were ecstatic to see the American support Hamilton.

Fans were certainly thrilled to see Tom Cruise support Lewis Hamilton. The Hollywood actor was also present during last year’s British GP as he embraced Hamilton.

Martin Brundle also stole the show with his grid walk once again. He has interviewed several star names within minutes.

The crowd will root for Lewis Hamilton as he started the race brilliantly. He jumped from P5 to P3. However, the red flag was waved as his teammate George Russell is knocked out of the British GP.
