Days After Splitting With Lewis Hamilton, Confidante Angela Cullen Reveals Her Adventurous Dreams Outside of F1

Angela Cullen leaving Lewis Hamilton in the middle of the ongoing F1 season came as a surprise to many. In fact, some even questioned her loyalty to her ex-employer, who is currently going through arguably his worst slump. However, Hamilton maintained they were still great friends who still keep in touch. While announcing her departure, Lewis revealed that Angela wanted to follow a different passion and even wished her luck in her journey. The fitness trainer has now revealed what that passion is and it will surely take you by surprise.

Angela started out with Hamilton back in 2016 as his physical trainer. However, what we saw her do for him over the years could easily put the designation of a personal assistant to shame. From carrying his stuff around to driving him to the race venue, she did it all. Therefore, it did not come as a surprise when her departure was seen as a big loss to the Briton.

Revealing her lifelong passion in her latest Instagram post, Cullen wrote, “It’s always been a dream of mine to fly .. when I was young I wanted to be a fighter pilot in fact I still want to fly an F16! , but today I went solo with my paraglider maybe (not the F16 ).. but was an amazing experience so peaceful … chasing dreams”

Ever since their split, rumor mills started churning, speculating that things weren’t going well between the duo. Hamilton put those rumors to rest, once and for all while speaking during the race weekend in Saudi Arabia.

Both Angela and Lewis wished each other the best of luck in their respective journey going forward through heartfelt posts on social media. The paddock partners also narrated how the other helped them become better people, the best versions of themselves. However, the rumors of a rift between them forced the 7x champ to give an explanation.

Speaking post-qualifying in Jeddah with Viaplay, Lewis said, “She’s moving on to a different phase in her life. We’re still super-close and we have been texting every day. I’m so grateful to have had her with me on this journey. She’s one of my closest friends and she continues to be.”
