Sebastian Vettel, deemed arrogant and aggressive during his initial year, actually turned out to be one of the nicest humans on the grid. The pressure of challenging a championship does this to the drivers, where they can’t be seen as meek, or else someone would walk right over them. Max Verstappen’s ugly side came out during the heated exchange after the Miami Sprint race. However, his softer side was recently seen in a video as Verstappen’s action won over millions of hearts.

Max Verstappen called George Russell a “d*ckhead” after the Miami GP sprint accident, which made a huge hole into the side pod of the Dutchman’s RB19. Verstappen received loads of criticism for his on-track antics. However, a story recently popped up on Twitter which revealed the other side of his personality. This time around, Max Verstappen made a hole in a door using a hammer to save his cat who was trapped inside. The Dutchman risked his shoulder to get the beloved cat out.

According to Video uploaded on Twitter by @MV_Updates, Max Verstappen said, “So I lost one cat for like 3-4 hours and I didn’t know where it was. I was walking around and suddenly the cat started meowing behind the door so I was like oh dear. It was a closet room so only a one-way entrance. So I’m trying to open the door but of course, it doesn’t want to open because a baby bed fell down behind the door in the storage room. The door was completely locked as the cat basically pushed the bed down and yeah there was no way to open the door.”

Explaining how he finally opened the door he said, “So I had to make a lovely hole in the door with a hammer to get the cat out. The cat must’ve been so scared in all that noise in the dark.” Verstappen then revealed, “I almost broke my shoulder trying to injure the door but it didn’t really work out.”
