Lando Norris isn’t your regular midfield driver. But he has toiled in the middle berths of Formula 1 for half a decade now, ever since he made his debut in the sport with McLaren in 2019. Despite being in inferior machinery almost always, the Brit has showcased his championship grit by outclassing the goliaths of F1 on a regular basis. The last time he did that was at the Austrian GP last week making 7x champion, Lewis Hamilton his latest victim.

Recently, on the eve of the highly anticipated British GP, Verstappen was in a mood to deliver high praise upon the Brit. He was quoted as saying, “If Lando would be in a race-winning car, he would regularly win races – it’s as simple as that.”
