Remember how Drive to Survive received a lot of backlash for not including a Sebastian Vettel farewell episode in the latest season of the docuseries? While almost everyone was disappointed because of that, some people in general don’t like the overdramatized nature of DTS. AlphaTauri has now revealed a plan to fulfill these core F1 enthusiasts’ dreams. What is AlphaTauri up to?

Drive to Survive has been an essential part of F1’s newfound success. AlphaTauri is now coming out with a film for all those out there who didn’t like the DTS’ overdramatic narrative. The film is going to be called “Whatever it Takes: The Race before the Races” and will be released on September 6th. It’ll be a documentary-style movie covering the 2021 and 2022 seasons for the team and will feature Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda.

It is also understood that the story of AlphaTauri from the beginning, when they were called Toro Rosso, is also going to be told through the movie. For the same reason, some speculate that former Toro Rosso drivers like Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo might also feature in the film. The movie is going to be available on YouTube for free and will be uploaded on AlphaTauri’s YouTube channel.
