Daniel Ricciardo has disagreed with Nico Rosberg’s claim of Baku pit straight. After winning the title, he hung his boots and call time on his F1 career.
Since retiring, Rosberg has embarked on the world of punditry and even has a YouTube channel of his own. He provides interesting insights and analysis on F1 and its workings.
In his new video, he was doing a track analysis of the Baku street circuit and called the wall at the pit straight as ‘dangerous’. The comments have garnered quite a response on social media and also from some current drivers such as Daniel Ricciardo.

Daniel Ricciardo mocks Nico Rosberg over his new profession
In his video preview, “Imagine something breaks on the car here. You’re at 350kph. On the left, there’s just a wall, and it’s facing you. If something breaks and you’re in that wall, it’s the end, there’s no more you. To go by there just feels ridiculously wrong,” said Rosberg.
According to PlanetF1, Ricciardo had a different view from Rosberg. “It’s quite like a fun pit entry, actually. It’s quite intense because you come at such high speed and then you’ve got a chicane. It’s one of the more entertaining ones, so I’m okay with it,” said Ricciardo.
The Australian continued by giving a cheeky nickname for Nico Rosberg. “Obviously, I just get a giggle when I hear… when you said ‘Nico Rosberg with the vlog’. I hear in my head ‘Nico Vlogsberg’. I don’t know if you’ve heard that nickname for him but it makes me chuckle,” said Ricciardo.
