The Aussie has become a popular star in the United States. Be it headlining the Ellen show or teaching Trevor Noah the famed ‘Shoey’, Ricciardo is a much-wanted figure. Hence, he was a natural pick for the Disney-backed American streaming service Hulu, which will release a half-hour scripted television show based on F1.

Now Twitter fans have reacted to this news, giving their perspective on this.

The ‘Honey Badger’ will reportedly don the hat of an executive producer for the series and will help them develop it. The project is currently in its infant stages, looking for writers, etc. Previously, an Apple documentary based on Lewis Hamilton had also been announced, with another project featuring Brad Pitt underway. This makes Ricciardo the second racer to land something similar.
