Daniel Ricciardo, the Australian-born Formula 1 driver, carries a special place in his heart for the United States. The Southern American lifestyle certainly seems to have attracted the Honey Badger, which was quite blatant during the foregone race weekend in Texas.
Ricciardo had an entirely different appearance, having tweaked his beard style and sporting a sheriff’s coat, typically looking like a cowboy. The fans loved it, the drivers loved it, the entire paddock loved it. And now, his fame has reached one of the most famous talk-show hosts in the United States.

American comedian, Ellen DeGeneres, who runs her own talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, will be inviting the 2021 Italian Grand Prix winner, Ricciardo, to the show. Along with the Honey Badger, the two-time host of The Oscars will also be inviting actor/stand-up comedian, Tracy Morgan.
Episode 38 of season 9 starring Ricciardo and Morgan will premiere on November 3, 2021, on over 85 channels in and around the United States, including ABC, CBS, and Comedy Central.
The description read, “Actor Tracy Morgan; Race car driver Daniel Ricciardo; High school seniors who were both nominated for homecoming queen by their class.”
Other F1 drivers who made it to The Ellen Show
Prior to Ricciardo, only one F1 driver has made it to The Ellen Show, and it’s the seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton. The Briton showed up in one of the episodes back in 2016.
And most of the interview revolved around Formula 1, which isn’t much of a shock. But, it wasn’t before Ellen did her Ellen-style of introduction to Hamilton by showing a slideshow of his shirtless pictures on the big screen.

So, it is quite possible that a similar script could be awaiting in the union of Ellen and Ricciardo. Moreover, with Ricciardo being one of the funniest drivers on the grid, joining Ellen for a TV show is possibly the best thing an F1 fan could ask for.
