Mick Schumacher was very much at home during the US Grand Prix weekend. The German driver and his family own a ranch in Austin, Texas. When Daniel Ricciardo got to know about this, he invited himself to Schumacher’s ranch in Texas.
Ricciardo loves Texas and displayed his love for the place throughout the weekend. But Mick mentioned that despite inviting himself to the ranch, the Aussie never showed up.
Schumacher stated in the interview that Ricciardo did not visit his ranch. “In the end, he didn’t have time,” said Mick.

I had to attend some events on Tuesday: Daniel Ricciardo
As reported by Motorsport, the McLaren driver stated he invited himself just for the cameras. But he later revealed the real reason behind his absence on the ranch.
“I had to attend some events on Tuesday and I actually thought I’d still make it to the ranch. I would have liked to. But I probably only would have had 90 minutes before I had to make the return trip,” said Daniel.
But Daniel mentioned that he was jealous of Mick for having a ranch in Texas.
“I hope we go to Austin for many years to come. It would be a good address as long as the invitation still stands. Maybe it was a one-off thing too. Anyway, it’s great that he has a ranch there. I’m jealous of it,” said the McLaren driver.
