Everyone is a Sebastian Vettel fan, even if they say they are not, but deep inside, they are! Even two-time world champion Max Verstappen as well! As the Dutchman joined the Austrian team and found himself doing well there, Daniel Ricciardo once exposed his fanboy-ism over the former Red Bull star.

In a recently surfaced video, Ricciardo was narrating an incident from his Red Bull days. The video is from the time when he and Verstappen were teammates at the Milton-Keynes-based team. As the video went on, Ricciardo was found showing the bathrooms.

However, this wasn’t any normal showcase as there was something hidden behind it. As Ricciardo goes on, “Bathroom there, not too much to say,” the amusing video showed an image of Sebastian Vettel embedded in the towel. This left the Australian embarrassed in the video.

He immediately collected himself ‘awkwardly’ and went on to convey, “I actually stole that towel from Max. He really didn’t want to give it to me but, I insisted.” As the bathroom tour comes to an abrupt end, this was all to establish whether Verstappen has been a Vettel fan, or maybe not. Who knows!

Talking about the 2021 British GP incident and his interaction with the German, Verstappen shared, “So when I came back from the hospital to get to my motorhome to get all my stuff, he was there waiting for me. When I got out of the car and you [Vettel] said ‘Hey, Max, like how you doing? Are you okay?’

And that just shows how he is, you know, a super nice caring person who is not only there for performance but also means well. I think that’s also really nice to be remembered like that,” further asserted the Dutchman in a report published by Planet F1.
