But he is slowly approaching the twilight years of his career. So it is natural for him to have an urge to try different racing categories all around the world. In a new video for British GQ, he disclosed his love for NASCAR and revealed that one day he would race competitively in the series.
“I am a fan of NASCAR. I love motorsports and I grew up watching NASCAR for sure. It’s something which I would definitely try one day. I don’t know if I’d jump in a NASCAR and I wanna race this weekend with the guys that have been doing it their whole life.”
“I wouldn’t want to humiliate myself, but I would certainly like to drive a car competitively like in a test session or something. But unless I did a lot of testing in preparation, I’ll probably get my **** handed to me. So I don’t need that,” said Ricciardo.
