The championship battle has been a season-long event of accusations, drama, and a lot of controversies. Yet, what has driven the temperatures high, are the outside opinions. Whether they are from fans, the media, or F1 pundits- everyone is wholly involved. Further, everyone has taken sides and is standing by for their player relentlessly. Hill has been critical of Verstappen for a while now, and with the Brazilian GP Turn 4 incident still open for discussion, everything is piling on. Regarding his views on the incident, Hill asked Horner, “Where are we with driving standards… because my personal view is that Max was over the limit.”

Horner went on to defend his driver, as one would expect, and ended his argument with, “I don’t quite understand why you’re being so hard on Max.”

Although as a fan of the sport, surely he has his preference. But as a pundit and commentator, harsh criticisms towards a certain team and their driver are unfair. Regardless, there is a crucial three rounds of racing ahead of the teams. Mercedes seem to have the pace advantage, while Red Bull struggle with technicalities. Surely the external pressures will do nothing to push either team off their track to the title.
