Lewis Hamilton is not living the best of his days in Formula One. While the champion started at P15 initially, he breezed through the midfield without many troubles. Hamilton overtook half the grid to safely secure his P6. He could’ve upgraded his result, but a strategic error caused the Briton to lose all spots.
Lewis Hamilton is not enjoying the new ride

Lewis Hamilton fought Mclaren, Haas, and Alpine for almost 40 laps without pitting. While he was the only driver on the grid to not have pitted, Mercedes camp pulled the trigger on his pit stop quite late in the race. While teammate George Russell looked perfectly comfortable, it was Lewis for whom things took a turn for the worse.
The 37-year-old lost the position and was back to P12. He reported that the car has not changed much since the last race and said, “What I know is that today I couldn’t keep up with the Haas at the end,”

“Uhhh, that whatever the power they have, they came flying, seen shotting past me, when I overtook Magnussen early on in the race.”
This was definitely not the result for Sir Hamilton, who is used to winning. Mercedes fans will dearly hope for a miracle because Hamilton seems to suffer due to the car’s slow pace. The usual title contender couldn’t even outpace or out-qualify his partner in the same car.
