It’s just been a month since the F1 season got over and already teams are announcing their 2023 car launch dates. Apparently, F1 just never stays on pause. So, teams are gearing up to unveil their cars before another hectic season starts. The latest team to announce its car launch date is AlphaTauri. Although it’s not technically a car launch as they will reveal only their livery. But of all the places in the world, they will do so in New York City on February 11th, 2023!
For the last few years, F1 car and livery launches pre-season have been restricted due to the pandemic. And AlphaTauri (formerly Toro Rosso) was a team that mostly do it on a smaller scale. So for 2023, it seems great to see the Italian squad putting up a show in NYC.
Nonetheless, many fans are speculating that there might be some cool hidden marketing intentions behind this livery launch. As per Twitter, the New York Fashion Week is also scheduled during the same period from February 10 to 15. AlphaTauri being a fashion brand might want to put up a good show with their New York City escapade during the same time.

Besides AlphaTauri, Ferrari and Aston Martin are the two teams who have also put out their car launch dates. The Scuderia will be launching their 2023 challenger on February 14th while Aston Martin a day earlier on February 13th.
Fans React to AlphaTauri’s Cool F1 Livery Launch event in NYC
Many fans are excited to just see the AlphaTauri livery on February 11th. While some have put out some sarcastic comments calling out the hidden marketing intentions, with the launch during the NY Fashion Week.
There's no coincidence that Red Bull's luxury fashion brand, Alpha Tauri, is launching its livery in NYC during New York Fashion Week.
As the world of F1 continues to enter the US mainstream, we'll see more crossover, specifically in fashion.

They’re the most unserious team in F1. Genuinely what is their ambition

Fitting given that it’s NY Fashion Week.

So the RB18 painted White.

Now that is quite unfair to the AlphaTauri F1 team. Yes, in the past they have used the previous year’s Red Bull cars. Though for the last few years since their rebranding; the team has put some decent cars on track.
While they still use key components from Red Bull, still it is an independent team operation. Yet, the actual car will be revealed at Pre-season testing, so any possible similarities with the RB18 can be spotted then.
Where in New York?

Is there a ticket for this?!?! I’m a big fan of alpha Tauri since they were toro rosso. And does this means alpha Tauri fashion will have a store in NY soon?!?!

Many teams do their F1 car launches in the factory or their base of operations. Ferrari will again be in Maranello for their car launch. While Aston Martin is looking to do the car launch at their new Silverstone campus base.
Although for AlphaTauri, they might just end up with the car in Bahrain for the pre-season testing.
Looking forward to seeing this beasty!
The fashion statement of the F1 grid! 💪🔥

Either way, the Italian outfit will look to develop a good 2023 car after a step back in performance this season. They finished 9th in the constructors’ standings, one of their lowest finishes in recent seasons.

Whether they will take any inspiration from Red Bull’s success is anybody’s guess. Though since the last few years, they looked to become an independent constructor rather than being in Red Bull’s shadow. Still, what do you think about AlphaTauri 2023 F1 livery launch in NYC?
