One of the most infamous sponsors on the Formula One grid has undoubtedly been Rich Energy. The energy drinks company entered the world of F1 with Haas back in 2019, but soon parted ways with the American-owned team.
Ever since then, the company has been active on social media, teasing a returning to the pinnacle of motorsports. Additionally, their recent Tweet suggests that they could be back on the grid in 2022 when the new regulations set in.
Haas’ former sponsor hints at a return to Formula One in 2022

When Rich Energy and Haas parted ways in 2019, the F1 community thought they will never associate the energy drinks company with the sport ever again.
However, they have been active on social media ever since, mentioning their former partners and even hinting at a possible return to the grid as early as the upcoming 2022 season.

They wrote, cryptically, on Twitter, “Chapter 2 #RichEnergy.”

Rich Energy still sends motivational messages to their former team
While the Guenther Steiner-led team was preparing for the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, a familiar face wished them the best ahead of their race.
The energy drinks company’s CEO William Storey wrote on Twitter, “Good luck to the Rich Energy boys in Texas today; I hope you enjoy the race.”

The team’s drivers, Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, finished the race in sixteenth and seventeenth place, respectively. The American-owned team will go home empty-handed once again this season, but hope to seize some points from the upcoming races.
The next race on the Formula One calendar is the Mexican Grand Prix. Haas will be hoping to learn from its mistakes at the Circuit of the Americas and bounce back at the Mexican track.
