Contradicting “Womanizer” Accusations Against Lewis Hamilton, Shakira’s Camp Confirms “Something More Than Friendship” With F1 Legend

Speculations around Lewis Hamilton and Shakira’s relationship continue to be rife. With no official confirmation from either of them, different rumors keep floating around. One of the latest ones suggested that there was trouble in paradise for the pair around the time of the British GP. But, all that seems to have cleared up as Shakira’s close friend has suggested that all’s well for the couple.

At the British GP, Hamilton barred the Colombian singer from entering the Mercedes motorhome. He reasoned that he wanted to shut off distractions and focus on reviving his career. That instance had seemingly caused some bad blood between the two. But Spanish Journalist Jordi Martin, who is very close to the ‘Waka Waka’ singer, has confidently claimed that everything has always been alright between the couple. And keep in mind, Martin is the same person who claimed that Shakira’s entourage called Hamilton a “Womanizer.”

Martin said, as quoted by Marca, “I would like to deny an information that has come out in a Catalan newspaper, where they say that Hamilton is tired of Shakira’s attitude. I can categorically deny this information because I have spoken to Shakira’s entourage and they confirm that between Shakira and Hamilton, there has always been a beautiful friendship.“

He elaborated, saying, “And that, between them there has been something more than friendship. The two knew very clearly that there was nothing serious and that there was total freedom between them to do whatever they wanted.”

Martin’s claims do seem to have weight in them. Firstly, because he is a very close friend of Shakira. And mainly because his claims agree with a Spanish Paparazzi’s account of what he witnessed.

Till the Thursday of this week, Shakira was unwinding in a luxurious villa in Ibiza. And here too, she was accompanied by her entourage. However, on the Spanish show, ‘Y Ahora Sonsoles’, the host revealed that the celebrity couple secretly met at night.

Her claims were backed by the eyewitness account of Spanish Paparazzi Sergio Garrido. “When the workers left, the singer stayed alone with her private escort and received a visit from Hamilton,” said Garrido. And he also claimed that they met not once but three times this way.
