Twitter calls out Red Bull team boss for his mistake involving Lewis Hamilton

The Red Bull team boss was referring to the fact that he will not count out Hamilton from challenging for the championship this season. He mistakenly stated that Lewis is an 8-time world champion and knows how to win. But he was corrected by the journalist quickly who mentioned that Lewis has won 7 World Championships are not 8.

“Obviously he had a horrible weekend, but he’s still an eight-time World Champion so. Seven! I forgot Nico Rosberg won one… He hasn’t forgotten how to drive in the last four races. At some point, they’ll sort their issues out and he’ll become a factor. I’ve got no doubt,” said Christian.

It was a painful moment for all the Formula One fans across the world to see Hamilton so uncompetitive. He eventually finished P13 after failing to pass Pierre Gasly throughout the entire race on multiple occasions. After the race, Lewis also got an apology from Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff for his uncompetitive car.

Although Horner is right in not counting out the British driver just yet, the time is certainly running out for Hamilton this season.
