The US Grand Prix brought enough excitement with it. Amid twists and turns, Max Verstappen won the race, snatching away the Constructor’s Championship for Red Bull as well. This time, the Dutchman narrowly beat Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, who took up podium places. Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, Leclerc’s teammate suffered a crash at turn one. Carlos Sainz was out of the race before he even got a chance to race.

“When Carlos enters and still you don’t realize the difference between the voices states how good this guy is at mimicking.”

“Even Carlos Sainz Sr. would be tricked by that impersonation!”

However, that does not mean the race results did not affect Carlos at all. Speaking to DAZN ESPAÑA after his incident, Sainz expressed some of his frustrations. He said,“I was battling with Max, and I think Russell came in like a crazy person, and he hit me. With the Russell incident, there was little I could do.”

George Russell missed his braking point and hit Sainz into turn one, causing the Ferrari to come to a spinning standstill.

“I think it sums up my season quite well, things just don’t go right – especially on Sunday. We need to turn the page and keep on trying.”
