Driveshaft doesn’t seem to be favoring arguably the best driver on the grid, Max Verstappen. The man who is going for the 37th win this weekend had a troublesome qualifying. The only factor that could have defeated him was a car issue, and it did. As it happens, the man who started in P15 has cruised past the entire field to race in P2 behind his teammate Sergio Perez. And the NASCAR prodigy, Chase Elliott, has jumped in to spark a debate about who takes the win.

The reigning double world champion, if he wins, will be an iconic feat coming from P15 and winning the race. However, his Mexican teammate has done a commendable job this weekend. Perez, who came to the 2023 season campaign, saying he is not the number two of the team, has a golden opportunity to prove his mettle. And the street fighter has given it his all to keep his champion teammate and 2023 championship leader, Max, at bay.
