Red Bull went into the race as an odds-on favorite but came out of it with zero points. Both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez both retired in the dying moments of the race.

This gifted the struggling Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton a very unlikely podium and good points in the constructor’s moments.

As reported by F1.com, not only did Leclerc win the race splendidly but he also had a perfect weekend as he took pole, won, and the fastest lap of the race. Ferrari took the most points with Carlos Sainz finishing second behind his teammate.
