Ferrari has unveiled their much-awaited challenger for 2022. After a ‘not so special’ SF-21 last year, this time they’ve lived up to most of the expectations. Upon seeing the new livery, team driver Charles Leclerc has expressed his liking towards the new Scuderia Ferrari car.

The new Challenger named F1-75 is the successor to last year’s SF-21. The Red-Black fast machine has instantly been a fan favorite. Fans poured in their appreciation for the livery, and Charles was one of them.

The Monegasque driver praised the Italian machine to a whole new extent. From posting on his official social media handles to answering interview questions about the car, his appraisals didn’t stop. During one of such media interactions, he was asked to share his emotions after seeing the F1-75. The 24-year-old driver conveyed that he loved the car so much that he felt butterflies in his stomach.

To quote his exact words, the Ferrari driver stated, “It’s like seeing the girl/boy you like for the first time, butterflies in your stomach. I am kissing her for the first time tomorrow (shakedown).” Charles took the F1-75 for the shakedown session on February 18, and here are some of the best sights.

The new season has come with various new regulations, that mostly revolve around the 2022 season car. One such huge regulation change is the tire size, which has gone up from 13-inch to 18-inch. This initiative is majorly focused on reducing the cars’ dirty air, while also promoting closer and more exciting wheel-to-wheel racing. Focusing on all these rule changes, the Maranello-based team has developed a car that will probably help them not only hold their third position in the constructor’s championship but also give Red Bull and Mercedes a run for their money. Charles who was P7 last year in driver’s standings will surely look forward to faring better this season.
