Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel were teammates at Ferrari during 2019 and 2020. Both drivers fought tooth and nail in the first season, even resulting in on-track clashes. But despite their close competition on the track, both drivers had enormous amounts of respect for each other off it.

While departing, the Italian team Vettel had mentioned that Charles was the most talented driver that he has seen in F1 in his 15 years. While the Monegasque driver considered the 4-time world champion as a Big Brother and a mentor.
Currently, the Ferrari driver is challenging for the title in the 2022 season and mentioned that he has learned a lot from Sebastian Vettel that will help him this season.

The German driver is known to be quite obsessed with the small details of the sport and knows that could be the difference between him and his rival. Leclerc mentioned that he too has picked up on this quality from Vettel and is applying it this season.

Charles has enjoyed a successful start to the season and is currently leading the championship. The Monegasque mentioned that he was happy with the new season and knows what to do going ahead.

“I’m very happy with the start to the season. What makes me happy is not really the performance, but that I know exactly what I still need to work on and what I need to improve in order to deliver more performance,” said Leclerc.
Leclerc needs to continue on his good reign of form throughout the season to show that he can challenge Verstappen all the way. It would be interesting to see if the SF-75 will be the fastest car throughout.
