It won’t be wrong to say that Formula 1 has reached a new level of popularity. Fans will remember the season 2022 as the catalyst for the sport’s admiration worldwide. Charles Leclerc and Ferrari endured a roller-coaster campaign. The season concluded on Sunday and now Formula 1 has posted a video on YouTube. In the video, they reacquainted each driver with their answers, which the drivers had predicted back in Bahrain. Amidst all this, Leclerc’s response caught the eye-balls of fans.

It’s a wrap for one of the most successful seasons of Formula 1. The season ended with Max Verstappen‘s masterclass at the Abu Dhabi GP. The year saw some of the best racing in the F1 grid and now when the season has ended. Formula 1 has brought back some old memories.

The reaction of Charles Leclerc to his prediction

The YouTube channel of Formula 1 has uploaded a video in which, back in Bahrain, drivers gave their predictions for season 2022. Each motorist responded differently, but Charles Leclerc’s prediction grabbed everyone’s attention.

Charles Leclerc said,” I will be celebrating in Abu Dhabi because I had a great season.” Later, he reacted to his prediction and jokingly said, ” I am embarrassed. This has been a very boring prediction. I’ll change for next year. I’ll be better.” He added further and said, “All in all its been a good season.” Indeed, he was right as the Monegasque finished at P2 in the driver’s championship and also helped Ferrari to secure the second spot at the Constructors Championship.

Although the Prancing Horse ended their season at P2, they were the team who challenged the ruthless Red Bull at the beginning of the season. However, through the course of the season, the team witnessed many strategic failures and reliability issues. Hence, Ferrari has reportedly sacked team principal Mattia Binotto.

Is Ferrari going to sack Mattia Binotto?

Ferrari had a decent start at the beginning of the season. They started with 2 wins from 3 races. Scuderia emerged as the toughest challenger to Red Bull. But owing to their misfortunes, they ended their season far behind the Milton Keynes side. Ferrari’s reliability issues, strategic failures, and driver errors have made their dream of winning the title much harder.

On multiple occasions, we found Binotto defending the strategic team despite their continuous failure throughout the year. Often, there have been rumors that the team boss Mattia Binotto doesn’t have the full trust of the team’s president, John Elkann. And now there are reports suggesting that Ferrari is all set to sack Binotto from the position of the team’s principal.

Moreover, there is speculation that Frederic Vasseur is on the cards to take over from the Italian engineer.
