In 2021, Ferrari made the headlines by putting pen to paper with a luxury watchmaker, Richard Mille. This was the Swiss company’s second partnership with an F1 team, following its 10-year deal with Mclaren in 2016. Thus, making the two teams with the richest heritage in F1 sponsored by it.

The Mclaren partnership saw the company launch the RM 11-03 Mclaren watch in 2018. The firm produced only 500 units of the watch and priced it at a whopping $191,500. However, it now puts the spotlight on its collaboration with the Italian team.

Recently, Richard Mille announced the launch of the RM UP-01 watch. Termed the ‘world’s thinnest watch,’ makes it stand out from any other creation of the multi-billion dollar brand. The Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz wear this new machinery in full elegance to promote the collaboration.

This new beast is just 1.75mm thick and would set you back by $1.8 million. Notably, it’s slimmer than a 10c coin and features a grade 5 titanium. This makes the machine waterproof, ultra-thin, and highly durable. The Swiss manufacturer would launch only 150 units of the limited edition watch.
