The 2022 season is finally here and soon the drivers will line up with their cars for the starting grid of Bahrain GP. Further, the Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will lead the race and followed by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
The Monégasque driver Leclerc has already showcased some phenomenal driving in the pre-season and then in the free practice. He also finished first in the Bahrain Q3. But behind him, the reigning champion Max Verstappen would be starting the race. The Dutchman is one of the best drivers in F1 and is famous for his strong personality and will to win races which everyone witnessed last year.

Charles Leclerc winning the Bahrain GP
The Italian driver is among the favorites to win the season-opener in Bahrain. Leclerc is one of the fastest drivers at the moment after his performance in the pre-season and qualifying. Over the past few years, Ferrari hasn’t been able to finish in the top or win as many races as once they did in the past. However, it seems the 2022 season might be one when the legendary Maranello base finally rises back to its former glory.
Even the seven-time world champion and Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton favors Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to win the season opener. Ever since the spectacular pace at the Bahrain pre-season testings, Hamilton has been claiming the Ferrari duo to win 1-2 in the Bahrain Grand Prix.

But Charles Leclerc shouldn’t be very confident. Because behind him, it would be Max Verstappen on the P2 at the starting grid of the Bahrain GP. It won’t be an easy task for the Monégasque to keep the Dutchman behind him throughout the race. Also, Leclerc’s teammate Carlos Sainz will start the race at P3 and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez would be at P4.
