Recently, there was a drivers’ meet and greet video uploaded by Formula 1 on YouTube. The video was shot backstage at the opening party, and it features the drivers having a chat and some good laughs.

One funny interaction that caught the eyes of the fans was between Alex Albon and Charles Leclerc. The chat suggested that there could be some moves in the paddock in the near future.

Albon predicts that Charles Leclerc is angling for a move to Williams

The duo could be seen bantering about Albon’s outfit. To which the Williams driver replied, “Please buy the merchandise. It helps front wings, rear wings” trying his best to market his merchandise.

However, suddenly Leclerc, who was loving the outfit, picked up a subtle but not-so-subtle detail about the shirt. The Monegasque exclaimed, “Oh it is a William’s shirt. I cannot wear it then.”

Nevertheless, Albon was quick to come up with a witty remark. He said, “unless you were to be a Williams driver”.

Leclerc, who still has 4 years left on his current contract at Ferrari, just laughed off the suggestions.
