When it comes to the 2022 F1 season, Charles Leclerc is another word for being unlucky. The talented Ferrari driver had the exact opposite season that he expected after the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix concluded. As another season is just around the corner, the Monegasque reveals the nightmare that haunted him since his childhood.

As per a recently surfaced interview, the former Alfa Romeo driver shared, “Whenever I go to sleep at night, whenever I wake up, the first thing I think of is winning. Then when you get a bit older and you got the media and all of these expectations that are building, it’s difficult to manage, all this outside pressure that can make you overdo things sometimes and that’s when mistakes happen.”

“I always question myself. In some times in my career, I just didn’t believe, I thought I wasn’t good enough. This is the biggest barrier I’ve had, since being the child always think, okay I’m not good enough to do that,” concluded the 25-year-old to Shell, one of Ferrari’s leading sponsors.
