Daniel Ricciardo proudly made an entrance in Austin ahead of the US Grand Prix. Most would say that the entrance was rather fitting. It was the most Texan entry there could’ve been. Ricciardo entered on a horse, and country musicians played tunes walking alongside him.
As all the drivers had arrived on the cowboy land prior to the start of the weekend, they took to their social media to post about their whereabouts. Ferrari favorite, Charles Leclerc and Mercedes’ George Russell didn’t miss out on this opportunity to be their witty selves.

It’s all fun and games with these cheeky drivers until they’re battling each other on the tracks. Austin is quickly growing as a popular circuit amongst drivers.
What is so special about the Circuit of The Americas?
In past recent years, F1 has garnered a huge audience in the United States of America. In return, the Circuit of Americas might be growing to become one of the most favorite circuits of drivers.
With a track that stretches 5.513km long, is the ultimate dream for an F1 driver. It starts with a 11% gradient climb to Turn 1. Eventually sliding into turns 3-6, that resemble the complexities of Silverstone’s Maggots-Becketts or the Suzuka Circuit in Japan.

The track is also very wide in certain places, which gives the drivers an opportunity to overtake each other with a lot of ease. And it also gives them the required space to take several lines during the race. Unsurprisingly, COTA has homed a bunch of spectacular races over the past few years.
The fun doesn’t just stop there, as the F1 platform has welcomed some A-list musicians to break a leg in recent years. Artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, and Stevie Wonder have graced the stage previously. This year, however, the presence of Green Day and Ed Sheeran is a potential possibility.
