Ferrari‘s 2022 troubles seem like a curse at this point. 24-year-old Monegasque Charles Leclerc, who has a championship-winning car in hand, drove magnificently in the first three races of the season. However, post that, reliability issues and driver errors have plagued his championship run.

Ferrari’s engine reliability has been the biggest cause of Charles Leclerc’s 80-point deficit to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in the 2022 F1 Driver’s Championship. It now appears this string of misfortune has taken a toll on Leclerc.

In yesterday’s Free Practice session, Charles Leclerc came onto the radio to request his team to remove sounds playing related to the toggle switches on his steering wheel.

The Monegasque complained that it distracted him and he felt as though the engine was acting up every time he heard those noises. However, fans saw the ironically funny side of this and took to Twitter.

Charles Leclerc, who has been known to be vocal on the radio, questions his garage when it comes to such kinds of things. However, if fans consider the way the season has gone ahead, many expected disaster and heartbreak, even after the summer break. Some tweets reflected the same.

This year has been frustrating for the Monegasque in terms of reliability issues. However, he says his mind is still in line with winning the Championship for Ferrari this season. It will be a tough task for him to do so as he will start Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix from the back of the grid. In a stroke of good luck for him, title rival Max Verstappen will also line up at the tail end of the grid.
