Leclerc, who regards Senna as his inspiration, has recently received a book about the story of the incredible Brazilian.

Ferrari’s driver is in the land of his inspiration, Ayrton Senna. Before the days get busy with race schedules, Leclerc was lucky enough to have received a book on his inspiration. Leclerc, who looked happy on receiving the book from the footage once revealed how the late McLaren star was an inspiration to his racing career.
Talking about this, the Monegasque once conveyed to Mobil 1 The Grid, “My father was a fan of Ayrton Senna and, since a child, he kind of gave me his hero.” Interestingly, Lewis Hamilton also regards the Brazilian legend as his inspiration.
The 25-year-old driver also asserted in a report published by the GPFans, “He told me everything he achieved and I’ve been interested in his career, reading books and watching his movie.”
“Senna was an inspiration,” further revealed the Scuderia Ferrari star.

From challenging Max Verstappen for the title to settling down for P2, the season didn’t turn out to be an ideal one for the Monegasque. However, things look riskier when Red Bull’s Sergio Perez now breathed down his neck for that P2 spot.
Interestingly, Perez already took the P2 position from the Ferrari driver after an incredible drive in his home race, Mexico. So far Leclerc picked up 275 points as compared to Perez’s 280. While the Ferrari driver picked up three wins and 10 podiums, his Red Bull counterpart picked up two wins and 10 podiums as well.
