The more we know, the more interesting the life of an F1 driver becomes. Thanks to talk shows and podcasts, we come across a lot of interesting stories. These stories give us an insight into the various aspects of driving an F1 car and the lives of the drivers. Lewis Hamilton back in 2016 revealed one such interesting story about Michael Schumacher.
That story is getting similar backing from the current Ferrari golden boy Charles Leclerc as well. During a chat on the Wild Moss podcast, the Ferrari man revealed an interesting aspect of racing. Leclerc revealed what exactly do drivers do when they need to pee during a race.

The Ferrari Monegasque revealed there are times the drivers just pee in their suits when nature calls during a race. It’s not a common occurrence, but it happens and Leclerc revealed exactly that.
He revealed, “If possible, I hold it back. It happened to me twice in my career. Once in Spa and another time — the race, it was very long. There was an accident we had to stay in the car, could not go out.” (Translated by YouTube)

The helpless scenario showcases there is really no way out for an F1 driver but to pee themselves during a race. This is exactly what Hamilton revealed when he appeared on the Ellen Show.

When Hamilton appeared on the Ellen show back in 2016, he talked about various aspects of racing. One such aspect was the need to pee during a race.

So when asked, Hamilton revealed, “You’re supposed to go in your suit, but I can’t do it. I’ve never done it, but there are drivers that do.”
He added, “The driver that used to drive for the team was Michael Schumacher. I don’t know if anyone’s heard of him but legend racing driver. My mechanics tell me he peed every single time he was in the car.”
