British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay never hides his love for sports, and F1 certainly ranks high in his interests. He is an avid supporter of the McLaren F1 team and backs them to perform at the top. He met Lando Norris during the Morning show two weeks after the Russian GP and expressed his emotional roller coaster during the high-tension race.

McLaren had a strong 2021 season as they finished a close second to Ferrari in the midfield ‘best of the rest’ battle. Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo put some really impressive performances in the 22-race calendar, the highlight being the 1-2 finish at Monza. While the Aussie driver took a while to adjust with the McLaren MCL35M, Norris was exceptional from the start.

Ahead of the launch, Ricciardo recently unveiled his peach-colored helmet with a special phrase “present momentum” signifying his approach. Also, they have got a special message from Ramsay ahead of the exciting season.

Gordon Ramsay has a special message for McLaren F1 drivers

Ramsay, being a huge supporter of McLaren, sent in his good wishes to the team. The 2022 season is close with pre-season testing scheduled later this month and the inaugural Bahrain GP in March. Teams are working day in day out to prepare for an unpredictable season. Many insiders believe the new season is like a blank sheet and every team is working to make the most out of it.

McLaren recently shared a video message from Ramsay on their official Twitter handle. Chef’s kiss. Friend of the team @GordonRamsay wishes Lando and Daniel good luck ahead of the start of the season,” read the caption.

In the video, the Briton shared heartfelt wishes to the two drivers. “Hey, Daniel and Lando, Wishing you all the very best for this season and I can’t wait to see you on the grid. Good luck, guys!” said Ramsay.
