The Spaniard has crossed off the pole position accolade from his checklist after the British GP qualifying. Nevertheless, another major check box unticked remains his first Formula 1 victory.

Sainz signed a contract extension with Ferrari earlier this season, which keeps him with the team until the end of 2024. The Spaniard has a car capable of winning the Grand Prix each race weekend. However, he has been unable to exploit the pace of his F1-75 like his teammate, Charles Leclerc.
