Carlos Sainz is in his second year with Ferrari and he formed a strong bond with his teammate Charles Leclerc. But in an F1 even during the Australian GP race weekend, the Spaniard took a dig at Leclerc and also his former teammate Lando Norris.

The 27-year-old Spaniard joined Ferrari last season, and he’s already a vital part of the Maranello base. Further, the teamwork between the Ferrari duo is undoubtedly one of the best. But Sainz had a great relationship with his former teammate Norris at McLaren. So, fans were also upset when Sainz and Norris parted ways.

The Ferrari duo recently attended the F1 Live Fast Festival in Melbourne. In the event, the Ferrari drivers interacted with fans and answered some fun fans’ questions. Sainz was asked who is the better teammate Lando Norris or Charles Leclerc. But the Spaniard answered, “They’re both shit.”

Charles Leclerc won’t join Carlos Sainz in the shower

In the F1 event in Melbourne, fans asked the Spanish driver to sing “SMOOTH OPERATOR” and also asked Charles to join in. Further, the Monegasque driver agreed to join his teammate in singing the song. However, Sainz reveals he only sings in the shower, to which Leclerc replies, “I won’t join you in the shower.”

The Ferrari duo not only showcases great teamwork on the circuit but also when away from it. The fans really enjoyed the interaction with Leclerc and Sainz. However, the Ferrari duo not only impressed the Aussie fans with their fun moments during the festival but also during the Qualifying.

How was the Australian Qualifying for Sainz?

Leclerc again showcased his phenomenal performance in the Australian qualifying, securing P1. However, teammate Sainz has to satisfy with a disappointing P9. The Spaniard had a great run during the Q3 and was faster than Leclerc. But before he could have finished his third sector, the red flag was out because of Fernando Alonso‘s accident.

After the Red Flag, Sainz was in the pit for a long time. Although he came out on the circuit when around three minutes were left. But his last run was only a tyre warmer and the best he could get was a P9. The Ferrari man was frustrated after the qualifying.
