Another season in the wonderful circus of F1 is drawing to a close. The last race of the middle-eastern triple-header, Abu Dhabi, aims to give a grand conclusion to this fantastic ride in 2020. With highs and lows for every team, McLaren looked back at their year with Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris.

Carlos Sainz will McLaren at the end of this season. Ferrari signed him earlier this year, and together with Leclerc and the Spaniard, the Prancing Horse aim to regain their lost mojo. Well, how far the Italians travel to achieve their objectives is a story only time can tell.

You know, on Monday morning after that race. So, I tried not to open social media because I knew how many jokes were going to be about me, okqy? But I figured out that I was gonna win the internet If I do myself a joke out of this. So I went on Instagram and said, ‘ And It was at this moment he knew, he f***ed up.'”

“I would’ve won the internet, I know, But I didn’t do it. I forgot,” concluded Carlos, in such a manner that every viewer would roll over laughing.

Carlos Sainz may be salvation for Ferrari

Carlos Sainz displayed extreme determination both in ’19 and ’20. Although he would drop back positions during the race, he would get back on the points table by the end of the race, Well, no one is immune to mistakes in F1 and Carlos gave his fans enough reason to forget his mistakes.

The above mentioned are the reasons Ferrari sacrificed a four-time champ to accommodate the magical Spanish. Both parties seem to be looking forward to this and appear optimistic about the future. Carlos answered questions regarding Ferrari’s form this season and stated that he has faith the Italians will improve.

From the words of the McLaren driver, it feels that Ferrari do have some tricks in their pocket. Bur, will they snub Red Bull and Mercedes? Well, Binotto has a lot of faith on his team and his drivers, and he says that the Red Italians will bounce back soon.

Presently, McLaren are still in the race for P3 with everything at stake for the last race of the season. If both Carlos and Norris can pull out good points, they may still topple their competitors, Racing Point and Renault. However, once Carlos moves to Ferrari, the McLaren duo will be missed dearly.
