Carlos Sainz has arguably been the most impressive driver of the season. The Spaniard moved from Mclaren to Ferrari to join Charles Leclerc as his teammate. But just like with his time at McLaren, Sainz has developed a friendly partnership with his teammate.
Carlos, who was known for his bromance with Lando Norris at McLaren, has started a new bromance with Leclerc in Ferrari. When asked if creating friendly rivalries with his teammate is part of his strategy, Sainz gave a very prompt answer.

Ferrari driver gives the reason behind his bromances with teammates
Sainz mentioned that he approaches every team that he works with without any animosity and prejudices. He also revealed that he only wants his team to succeed in the sport.
“That has nothing to do with a strategy. I approach a team openly without prejudices or animosities. It’s important to enjoy the job,” said the Ferrari driver to Auto Motor Und Sport.
“If I enjoy it, my performance is better. Why should I mess with my teammate? It doesn’t do me any good. It works better if you can laugh about things together and joke about good and bad laps in qualifying. If we both work in the same direction, the atmosphere in the team is better and we make faster progress,” said Sainz.

As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Sainz stated that he and the team are working very hard to beat Mclaren in the constructors’ championship this season. Analyzing his own performance, the Ferrari driver mentioned he was lacking consistency with the car.
“My pace is right, but there is a lack of consistency,” said Sainz.
“And today you really do have to put all the puzzle pieces in the right place to show a good racing performance. I’m doing better now and it has comforted me to see that I was always close to Charles in terms of speed. But he has managed to put better weekends together,” stated Carlos.
